What's Up Wednesday [November 2022]

Happy Wednesday!! For some reason, it pretty much already feels like December to me, but here we are celebrating the end of November! It's been a full month, but the first month in a while where we feel a little back to our pace that we can keep up with...just in time for the holidays and sprint that December usually is, right?! Hahaha

But here's just a little bit of what's been going on with us recently as we finish up this last day of November!

What We've Been Eating:

All the Thanksgiving food!!! And we have been loving it!! 

Pierce and I were also in charge of the salad while we were in Texas and loved eating all of these greens for leftovers the next day too!

We've also been on a pomegranate kick recently... It's hard to beat this sweet fruit at this time of year! 

We also may or may not have had our biggest holiday guilty pleasure delivered to the house one night... Chick-fil-A's peppermint milkshakes... If you haven't tried them, you really have to. They are just Christmas in a cup... 

Which, speaking of Christmas in a cup, Pierce brought this home one afternoon, and it's our very favorite holiday coffee drink... Starbucks' Chestnut Praline... We always get it a little less sweet, but it is too good to pass up!! 

What We're Reminiscing About:

In 2018, Pierce and I had been married about three weeks when we celebrated Thanksgiving and his brother and sister-in-law had been married about three months... And four years later, we were both back with baby girls... It was sweet to look back on for sure!! 

What We're Loving:

Well, Jane has been loving the piano and we have been loving watching her play. We've starting bringing her high chair up to the keys, and she could play forever. One morning, she reached and reached for her little kangaroo, and when I brought it over, she stuck him in her lap like this and continued playing hahaha *cue all the tears* It was the cutest!! 

What We've Been Up To:

These three Riddicks have been traveling, traveling, traveling... Jane's been a champ... And we've gotten to see so many sweet family members... 

Including time with both of her granddads... 

And her great-granddad, which was so sweet. 

What We're Dreading:

Honestly, we don't dread too many things. The only thing that comes to mind is when we have our Christmas lights plugged in outside, it somehow uses the same breaker as my hair dryer in our bathroom and when I turn my hair dryer on, it trips the breaker and the lights and my hair dryer both turn off 😂 Are these the things that I will miss when we move one day?! Hahaha ...also, do we need to hire an electrician at some point?! ...probably. 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

What We're Working On:

Well, most of Christmas is up in the house, but we are working on getting the outside lights put on this weekend...hence the hair dryer dilemma hahaha I'll be sure to keep you posted on a little holiday tour sometime soon though ☺️

What We're Excited About:

Really, Christmas and all things holidays... What could be better?! 

What We've Been Watching/Reading:

I've been loving this winter edition of Magnolia...it is all of the coziness and warmth and favorites of soaking in the small moments in one sweet magazine. 

We've also been cozied up watching as many Christmas movies as we can...This is where you can probably find us for the next four weeks... 

What We've Been Listening To:

Need I say more?! Hahaha We've loved finding some fun songs to add to our playlist this year... And I've been loving seeing other people's playlists too. It's the best to grab ideas and hear new fun songs! If you're wanting a new playlist to listen to, you can find ours here. 

What We've Been Wearing:

Well, Jane has been wearing all the Thanksgiving outfits, and they have been the cutest and most fun! 

Our sweet sister-in-law also bought the cousins matching overalls for Pierce's Family Ranch, which was so sweet and fun!!! 

What We're Doing This Weekend:

Hopefully our weekend will look a whole lot like this...all things cozy and all things Christmas 🥰

What We're Looking Forward To Next Month:

We are soaking up all the firsts with sweet little Jane and just loving it 🥰🎄✨

What We're Thankful For:

This little family will always be at the top of the list...especially this time of year ❤️ But we are so grateful for this past week and all the family that we got to see!!
