Happy Friday!!! Hope everyone has had a great start to November!! We are finally getting settled back into life in Nashville, and we're looking forward to a cozy weekend with some football, friends and a fire in the fireplace. Today I just have a few snapshots from the week - I hope you're finding lots of small joys in your days too!!! Here is a little look at a few of ours!
Goodness, I've seen fall a lot of places, but my parents' house in Kentucky is always one of my very favorites.
A favorite for sure was hopping on a plane with this guy last week for a little weekend getaway. After 20 flights of boarding with a little one, a diaper bag, a million snacks, wipes, toys and books, carrying just a purse and sitting next to this guy with our books was such a fun change of pace...we'll take a flight together any day even if we have to wake up before the sun rises to catch it! Can't wait to share more about our trip next week!!
One of the gifts we brought back from the sweetest little toy store were these crayons and animal mat. Jane has loved them, and it's made my teacher heart happy to see her coloring away.
It has definitely become our pre-breakfast activity and a favorite for sure.
Another favorite has been just simple mornings back home with this one. Cuddled up with our blanket, her baby (with a new outfit and bow thanks to Nana!), and some books. I couldn't love these mornings more...
And sometimes our mornings lead us to the library where Jane gets to hang with seriously one of her sweetest little friends. They held hands all the way to our cars, and it just made us smile!!
And lastly, I loved spending Tuesday night in our cul-de-sac with these two! I wrote a little bit more about it here, but Jane loved getting doted on with glow sticks and necklaces and little bags with her name on it from our sweet neighbors. We are so thankful!
And that about wraps up our short week back here in Nashville. I'll be back next week with some more snapshots from life and travel lately! I hope everyone has such a great November weekend!! And thanks Erika and Andrea for a fun blog link-up!!
Happy Friday!!
Lots of love!
