Snowy Days in Nashville ❄️

Happy Tuesday!! Well I thought I would end this last week of January with a few memories and snapshots of our snowy days here in Nashville. They were truly some of our very favorites. We had the best time and truly tried to soak in every minute of those snow days turned snow week. I LOVE when things slow down a bit...Pierce was working from home, Jane was loving the snow, we had groceries and warm meals, the fireplace on, and I was so thankful for those many blessings and our home during those cold, wintery days. Here are just a few snapshots for your Tuesday!!
Just the very best!! ❄️❄️❄️
We bundled up and got in one last mile walk on Sunday afternoon before it started snowing that evening!!
And then of course we HAD to take Jane out before her bedtime that night when it had just started coming...
The pure joy...the pink rain boots... I love it all just so much!!
Snow in Nashville is just such a fun treat!!!
The next morning we woke up to many more inches covering the ground, and this little one could hardly wait till after breakfast to get her snow bib on and get outside.
We loved that Pierce had the day off for MLK Day, so we really tried to make the most of it!!!
The first of MANY times that week all bundled up.
Jane was pretty much mesmerized by absolutely everything - including the fact that you could turn the snow into little snow balls 😂 So sweet!!
Sheesh I love this girl so much!!!
I also LOVE a cozy home with a wintery, snowy background and the fire going...this girl loves the beach and loves summertime, but I don't know if there any many things more cozy than this. We took lots of breaks, made our favorite Dandelion Mocha Mint tea as our "hot chocolate," and cozied up as much as we could.
But this little one kept us outside a whole lot, which I honestly loved too. I also loved how the snow truly came up past her knees in some parts of the yard and neighborhood 😂
Our sweet, sweet neighbors let us borrow their sled that they used when their kids were little and tied a rope to it so we could pull Jane. And let me tell you, this is basically where you could find her 95% of the time that week hahaha she would just hold on with her tiny little hands, and yell, "Go!!!" And then laugh and smile as she flew past us hahaha
Up and down hills, mile long walks, over snow and ice...she just couldn't get enough.
We walked to a few friends' houses and got our steps in!!
Seeing our neighbor covered in snow was so fun though!!
I love a good winter wonderland!!
We took this little nugget out at night before her bedtime a few times and even got a few rides in ourselves haha!
We made a few snow crafts on the cold mornings when Pierce was working...
And Pierce showed Jane how to roll some snow balls to make a "No-man"
I love these two!!!
We really did try to soak up and treasure these days with this little one!!!
Pierce and I did get to sneak in a little fun of our own too though!!
I wrote a little bit more about one of our late night walks that turned into a night sledding here...
I loved the extra week of a slower pace with this guy...
And this little growing fam of three as well...
So thankful for this home, the memories it holds, and for these fun snowy days in Nashville!! What a gift to get to soak in and treasure the small things...like a few snow days in January!!

Thanks for following along and hope if you got a little snow where you are, it was just as cozy and fun!! We are always crossing our fingers that we may get a little more before spring comes!! Jane is definitely hoping so!! ☺️🥰☃️

I'll plan to see you back here tomorrow!!
Sending lots of love!
