Riddick Summer Tidbits

Hi friends!!!! Goodness, have I missed this space. Summer has just gotten away from us over here, and I had to take a week last week to get things a little more situated and settled and just be present in the moment for a bit. Is everything completely situated and settled?! No...hahaha but having a week with the littles to just enjoy the summer days sure was needed and helped our little summer rhythm a bit.

Things I Want to Remember About This Summer...

Happy Tuesday!! Well, as August is coming to a close, which I truly can't believe, I thought it might be fun to write a little post about this past summer. It felt daunting to me, as I couldn't possibly remember and post every fun memory and picture, but I sat down, brainstormed a little list, scrolled through a few pictures I had favorites, and thus, this post was born.

Monday Thoughts...Starting Small.

Happy Monday!! I thought it'd be fun to just share a few thoughts on here about something fun that I'm learning/doing these days... 

After finishing The Lazy Genius Way, it's been fun to put into practice some of her tips and principles. None of them are "new" or life-changing in and of themselves, but her writing and process made sense to me and encouraged me, especially in discovering what's important and what matters the most in our home, family, and rhythms.

One of her principles that I've loved is "Start Small," which has been so helpful to not feel like I have to tackle it all at once.

Monday Thoughts...

Happy Monday morning from a very cold Nashville, TN!! Somehow the temperature dropped 40° over the weekend here, but it was still the sweetest few days even through the cold! Hope you had a good weekend and are staying warm wherever you are this morning too!!
