Jane is ONE!

H A P P Y   B I R T H D A Y  T O  O U R  S W E E T  J A N E ! !

April 5th... How are we already here?! Goodness... It seriously feels like just yesterday I was holding that tiny little newborn baby...and now I'm holding her growing little hand as she's walking beside me... It doesn't feel real, but at the same time feels so special and right. 

Looking back on this past year, all I can say is thank you Lord for His abundant blessings in the form of this little girl's life. 

She has taught us, grown us, stretched us, shown us, and reminded us (often in new and fresh ways) of God's mercy, grace, patience and love. When I think back on all the hard and all the good, I just can't help but smile. I'm so thankful for sweet Jane Arbel and the beautiful addition she has been to our family. 

She is smiley and SOCIAL and smart and determined. She's always on the lookout, always aware of what's going on around her, and always looking for a friendly face to smile and hug. 

She LOVES music, loves a good beat that she can wave her hands to, loves being able to do things independently while simultaneously never leaving your side.

She loves outside, loves to swing, and loves any stairs she can get herself on, up, and over. 

She loves the grocery store just about as much as anyone I've ever seen and can pretty much crack a smile from any stranger she passes... 

She's happy and sweet and keeps us laughing and continually praying... We just couldn't be more grateful or love her any more. 

Jane, you are ONE today, and your mom and dad are so blessed by you!! We hope today and this month are so special - celebrating all the Lord's many blessings in your little life!! We pray most of all that you come to know Him and love Him one day and that there are many more sweet years ahead!!! 

What a blessing to celebrate this little girl and this sweet year!! We are looking forward to a special time with family and friends coming soon, but today, we are filling our house with balloons and baking Jane a *healthy* cake for her sweet day 😉 

Thanks for always celebrating with us and for all of your love and support this past year. It really has been such a special one.
