What's Up Wednesday [April 2023]

Happy Wednesday!!! Hope everyone is having a great week!! We are in the middle of getting things in order over here - from party decorations being put away and our house back to normal to meal planning, laundry, and everything in-between, it's a week of getting things ready for our fun May coming up. Today I thought it'd be fun to take a little look back on this busy April though!! Here's a little bit of what's been going on around here recently... 

What We've Been Eating:

Goodness you guys, if we're being honest, these Riddicks have pretty much been eating vacation food, party food, shower food, and all things that we don't normally have around here... We are ready for a nice little cleanse to get us back on track over here... 

What We're Reminiscing About:

That sweet April 5th, 2022.... We will always treasure that day! 

What We're Loving:

This social little one is keeping us laughing as she is ALWAYS saying "hiii" with a tiny wave to pretty much every one she sees...She loves people, let me tell you! Hahaha but we are loving see her little personality come to life! 

What We've Been Up To:

Between Belize... 

Celebrating this sweet little one... 

Hosting a sweet baby shower... 

And just soaking up the nights together, it's been a busy month full of lots of family in town and events on the calendar, but we've loved it all!!

What We're Dreading:

The pollen...the end of April gets me every year, but I think we're almost in the clear over here hopefully.

What We're Working On:

Pierce and I have been loving working on our yard these past several weeks...it's been so fun to do together in the evenings, and we're excited about finishing it up to be able to enjoy it this summer!! 

What We're Excited About:

Jane has been excited about this little baby doll since the moment she opened it on her birthday, and it's been the sweetest to watch.

What We've Been Watching/Reading:

I’ve been reading Denise Hunter’s new book, Pierce has been reading The Count of Monte Christo, and Jane is reading any and all books on her bookshelf (with her babydoll of course 😉).

We've also been loving keeping up with the latest season of Next Level Chef these days.

What We've Been Listening To:

Pierce and I have been listening to the Bible app to catch up on our reading plan from the business of the past few weeks. We're also excited about our summer playlist coming back into action soon.

What We've Been Wearing:

Travel outfits, swimsuits, and sunscreen made up most of the beginning of the month!! 

What We're Doing This Weekend:

We are dedicating sweet Jane at church on Sunday, and we can't wait. ❤️

What We're Looking Forward To Next Month:

We love the month of May!!! May holds both of our birthdays within just a few days of each other, and now with Mother's Day mixed in, it's just such a sweet and fun month!! 

What We're Thankful For:

This little family of three...my what a blessing it has been to celebrate the Lord's many gifts this past year!!!
