Texas, Family Weddings, and Flower Girls

Happy Wednesday!!! Today I thought it would be fun to share a few snapshots from our trip to Texas last weekend. We had the best time seeing Pierce's family, celebrating his sister and watching Jane and her sweet little cousin be the cutest little flower girls.
This little girl looked perfectly Texas in her dress that Aunt Kelsea picked out, and I loved snapping a picture with her smiley-self!!!
She had been VERY excited all week to go on an "airpane" again!!
And I wrote a little bit more about her last lap child flight here, but she did so great and so did Pierce picking up our luggage while I went to the bathroom. I came out to find them both like this 😂 Oh the joys of traveling with a little!!!
One of the sweetest parts of this trip was hanging out with these two plus their little Lucy (and little one coming this summer too!!) We love these two and renting a mini-van and staying together for the weekend was just SO fun!! I'm not sure who had more fun - the four of us or the two girls!!
Just love "Jess-Jess" as Jane has now started to call her!
That sweet day, we got to the venue and Jane and Lucy both got their little baskets full of flower pedals!
She was excited for her role that afternoon!!
And I love an afternoon dressed up with Pierce any day!!!
These two were truly PRECIOUS let me tell you.
They held hands the entire time, so the rose petals only ended up at the end of the aisle, but it was just the most precious little duo!!
I didn't snap too many pictures during the ceremony, but Pierce played a worship song, and I loved getting to see him play the guitar and lead worship again. Jane LOVED him practicing leading up to it. And the girls held hands pretty much the rest of the day (and time together too hahaha).
Love these two (really, three!) so much!
Took us back to our many, many weddings that we went to just the two of us!
We snagged a pic with the fam minus the bride and groom as they were off taking pictures!
And Cy-Cy matched the girls perfectly as they walked to the car!
Cy-Cy tried her hand at a three-tired homemade cheesecake, and it was AMAZING and the prefect wedding cake!!! Her cheesecake recipe is a family favorite, so this was the perfect way to end the sweet and quaint reception!
Little Janie had QUITE the day and ended up taking a little nap in my arms, which she almost never does. I had to snap this little sleepy pic - it was the sweetest getting to cuddle up with her as we snuck away for a few minutes.
Love her and her little rested self so very much!!
We ended the trip getting to explore Austin a little bit and Jane loved it!!
We hopped back on another airplane and made our way back to Nashville!! It was the sweetest trip, and we LOVED getting to celebrate Aunt Kelsea and Jose!!! We're not sure when our next trip will be, but this one was a sweet one to end on as a family of three!!

And there are just a few snapshots for your Wednesday!! We were so proud of Jane for hanging in their on long travel days and long wedding days. She is a trooper, and it helps when you have your best friend beside you the whole time!!! Thankful for sweet cousins and for family!!

Thanks as always for following along!! It was a sweet little getaway!! I'll plan to see you back here tomorrow!!

Sending lots of love!
