Our Fourth of July 🇺🇸

Fourth of July is slowly inching up as one of my favorite holidays... I love that it's in the middle of summer, it's usually filled with sunshine and blue skies, family and time outside. Last year we spent the weekend in Louisville with my family, and this year, we decided to head back up to the pool for all the fun that comes with it. 

This year looked a little different with a 3 month old in the mix, but we had just as much fun celebrating this fun holiday.

We packed up the car (and Jane) and made our way on our 2 1/2 hour drive. Jane was a champ and did great the whole way. 

We camped out here for most of the weekend and filled the days with swimming, corn hole, watermelon, reading by the pool, and chips and salsa. 

Just loving the summertime! 

We even got Jane a little 4th of July swimsuit 🇺🇸

This was Jane's second time in the pool, but we bought her a floaty this time and she loved floating around. We could have been out there forever. 

We love this place so much. 

My parents' yard is beautiful, and they have an incredible garden in their field next door that we love to reap the benefits from.

That kale has my name written all over it!! And the tomatoes, jalapeños, squash and zucchini too!

Pierce is the gardener and loves checking out what's growing...this year, he found a Jane size zucchini 😉😂

Another 4th of July in the books and how special it was having Jane with us!! We ended the weekend with some yummy dinners and carrot cake that my sweet sister made. Love making new memories and soaking in the big and small moments.
