Oh, happy Thursday! This past weekend we had Pierce's brother and sister-in-law and their two littles stay with us for Valentine's weekend, and it sure was a sweet one!!! I'll post more about it next week, but we've just been taking the week to reset, play a lot, and enjoy the fun surprise snow that came this week! Today's sweet Frame This Moment came from a little moment during one of Andy's morning naps this week...

2024 in Review

Well, it's official, I think this post might be my favorite post I do every year... I always forget about these posts, and then when it's time to write the next one, all the tears and the "Oh my goodness! Look at this!" "How was this already two years ago?!" quotes come from looking at past years... Time is just flying by, and I'm so thankful I have taken the time to write these ever year... So, even though we are already in February, here are just a few snapshots and highlights from each month... I always like to say the Riddicks thrive in January and the summer, and I really think it's true. I'm not quite sure why because some of the other months in-between are such favorites too, but there's something just sweet and refreshing about the month of January, so in honor of the last day of the month, I thought I'd dedicate this little Friday Favorites to a January edition. Well, as the sun is shining and it's starting to warm up just a little here in Nashville, I thought it would be sweet to share a few of our snowy Jackson pics from New Years!!! ❄️ Pierce's parents spend a good bit of their year in Jackson, Wyoming, and we love making it out there when we can! You can read lots of Jackson posts here, but this was only our second time there in the winter and first time bringing two littles to a snowy state, so we learned a lot, but enjoyed our trip so much too!! We spent Christmas in Nashville with the four of us and then a few days in Louisville with my family, and it was a sweet blend for sure!! We've been loving our little slower January over here and love the wintery days, but are so thankful for the days the sun is shining too so we can get out and play for a while!! Frame This Moment - Mealtimes.

Happy, happy Thursday!!! And "Frame This Moment" day over here... I started this sweet series back in January 2023 after reading a blog in high school who always posted a "Frame This Moment." I thought it was the sweetest and most endearing idea, and I knew I wanted to continue it at some point on a blog of my own... So January 2023 felt like the perfect time to start. You can read that first post here. 

The heart behind it is really just taking one "snapshot" or "moment" in time and "framing" it to remember. Life is full and fast and oftentimes filled to the brim with so much that it can be a challenge to remember the little moments... When I started this blog, what was on my heart was truly a way to capture those small moments and snapshots, while enjoying the little things and celebrating the big things, and I consider it such a treat to share a little of our journey on here. I also really do love it so much when you share yours too!!! I have seen so many from different stages and seasons of life, and I'm not kidding when I say, they truly. do make my day!!! 

So, here's to another year of Frame This Moment, and a simple one on my end to start off 2025!
