Snapshots from the Beach 2025

Happy, happy Wednesday!!! Today I thought it would be fun to share a few snapshots from our time at the beach. We love heading down to the beach in the fall with my family, but this year my mom had a quilting retreat near the coast at the beginning of June (have I ever mentioned my mom is an absolute amazing quilter?! Maybe a blog post on that one day?!) and with *two* (both of our sisters are expecting!) little nephews coming this fall and not knowing what fall travel looks like, we decided to join them for a week early summer, and we loved it!!

Andy is a FUN One 🎉

Awww HAPPY JULY!!! I just LOVE the start of a new month. And July is definitely a favorite over here!! April, May, and June are filled with lots of celebrations, all of our birthdays, and this year a lot of transition and travel mixed it too, but July is just SUMMER to me, and we can't wait!! I thought it would be fun to finish out these three months with the final birthday blogpost of a favorite little celebration that happened over the weekend. We dedicated little Andy at church on Sunday and then hosted a little grill-out to celebrate that sweet occasion, his birthday, his first year of life, and the precious little bundle of joy that he is!

Happy, happy Friday!!! Last week, we celebrated our little Andy, and it was a favorite all day long!! I thought I'd share a few snapshots of his sweet little birthday! We can't even believe he is ONE. We have a sweet dedication at church on Sunday and then are celebrating with a little grill-out to celebrate this little boy. Traveling With Little Ones

Well, as we are packing for the beach this week, traveling has been on my mind quite a bit... 

This will be our fourth time driving to the beach with littles in carseats and our trip to Jamaica last month marked our 40th flight with littles on board with us... (Including two international trips and not to mention about 978 three hour car rides to Louisville as well.)

And goodness we are far from pros, but we have learned a lot over the past three years, so I thought I'd try to create a little post where I can share a lot of our thoughts, finds, tips and tricks that have worked for us! 

I know there are SO many families that travel far more than us, but there are so many that I have talked to as well that are nervous about taking their first flight, so hopefully, this will be a little post for everyone, and I'd love all of your tips and tricks too!!

Jamaica 2025 ☀️🌴💦

Happy Tuesday!! I hope everyone had such a great weekend!! We are really loving this month of May over here, and today I thought it would be fun to share a few pictures from where we started this month. At the end of April, Pierce's parents had planned a trip for all three siblings, spouses, and grandkids to be together for a week in the beautiful Jamaica! It was a sweet week (full of ups and downs as you can imagine with twelve altogether and four little ones three and under 😉), but we have some sweet memories from the week and thought it'd be fun to share a few snapshots on this Tuesday morning!! 

Friday Favorites - Little Helper, Morning Tea, and Sweet Devotionals

Aww a Friday in May!!! Aren't they just the very best?! For some reason, Friday feels even sweeter in this month. Let me tell you, after being away from home for almost two weeks, a few days at home feels like a breath of fresh air. Tutoring for exams finished up this week, our suitcases are finally unpacked and put away, laundry is caught up, returns and errands are *almost* completed, and we are ready for all of the summer and sunshine headed our way!!! Happy Thursday!!! And Frame This Moment day!!! We are getting things a little more settled over here in the Riddick world... It's been full-steam ahead the past month or so, and we are loving a little time at home to catch up on all things life and work. Last Day, First Day and Birthdays

Goodness, it's been a big few weeks in the Riddick home, and this weekend was no exception. We celebrated Pierce's birthday on Friday, Mother's Day on Sunday, and Monday was filled with Jane's Last Day at her Mother's Day Out, Pierce's first day/move-in day to his new office, and my birthday! We are loving all the big celebrations, but looking forward to some simple days ahead as well!! I thought today I would just share a few snapshots from the last few days!

Awww happy MAY!!!! We are BACK!! We spent our last week in Jamaica with Pierce's family and had a really sweet week. I can't wait to share all about it!! We are happy to back though and so looking forward to this next sweet month! 

Riddicks are Off!

Happy, happy Friday!!! Well, we found ourselves at the airport last night picking up Daddy, and we will be back there bright and early tomorrow morning on another adventure!
