Happy August!

A new month!!! Happy August 1st!! I can't believe we are already half way through 2023 and starting August today... July was such a great month and finished up in such a fun way over here celebrating my mom's birthday yesterday and finishing our 31 miles running! It was a HOT month for lots of running, but we are looking forward to all that's to come in August!! 

August holds another three birthdays in our families, so we are gearing up for lots of celebrations and some fun goals on our radar too. Our community group starts back up, tutoring really picks back up, we'll be cheering on all my teacher friends as they start back to school (it's such a joy to celebrate and shower them from the outside these days!), and we'll be soaking up all the family time with these evenings still full of light! 

Jane turns 16 MONTHS in just a few days...not sure how that is even possible... And we are trying hard to soak in some of the rhythms and routines that we have really come to love in this season. Life is full and crazy and filled with lots of little moments, some making us laugh, some sending us to prayer, and a whole lot just making us grateful for the Lord's many blessings in our life. 

I'll be back on here soon with lots more in this month of August. A fresh start this morning, and I'm off to make some tea and soak in this early Tuesday morning!
