Friday Favorites - Trips to Jackson, Football Games, and Our Dad's Birthdays

Happy Friday!!! It's August 18th! The day Pierce and I celebrate BOTH of our dads! They both have birthdays on this day - how crazy, right?! We'll be over here celebrating via FaceTime and phone calls today and looking forward to seeing them both soon! I hope everyone has the best weekend! Here are just a snapshots and favorites from our week and a few flashbacks from this time last year as well! Hope you're finding small and simple joys in your week as well!!

The first favorite is just reminiscing on our trip to Jackson, WY this weekend last year! 

We went out to celebrate Pierce's dad's birthday and from Jeep riding to paddle-boarding while the grandparents watched Jane... 

To just simply enjoying the front porch views, we love it out there! We've been out there the past two Augusts, and it's always a favorite! You can read a little more about that trip specifically here and a few other Jackson favorites here. 

Another favorite and flashback was going to the Buccaneers Titans pre-season game last year for my Dad's birthday.

We loved that game so much, and seeing little Jane in those pictures just about melts my heart...to say she was fascinated by the screens would be an understatement hahaha You can read a little more about that game here. 

Also, if you're looking for cute little baby outfits for your football season, we loved this Etsy shop. 

Really though, a big favorite today though is just celebrating these dads. Both have stepped into Jane's life with so much love and it's been the sweetest to see!! Circa Jane maybe three days old...cue the tears!! 

And Jane with Pierce's dad last year at Easter...maybe two weeks old...goodness. We are so thankful for you both Jim and Pretlow!!! 

Another favorite from our week was going to the zoo with some friends. They let Jane ride in their double stroller, and she was in heaven having a friend sit next to her the whole time!! And loved the kangaroos and people watching too!! 

And we've still been loving the sourdough life over here... Pierce worked from home a day or two this week, and we made the most of it with some family breakfasts! 

I think Jane might be loving it most of all though 😂 hahahaha 

And lastly, you can find the three of us back on the Titans field this weekend for their 5k to kick off the season! We're excited to check off a goal this year and get another 5k under our belt!! A favorite for sure!! 

I'll look forward to seeing you back here next week!!! We have family coming in town, so I'll plan to be back here on Wednesday to spend Monday and Tuesday soaking in as much as I can!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY again to our Dads! I wrote a little more about celebrating them here that you can read this August 18th, including some sweet milestones that they've both been a part of in our lives!!
