Jackson 2022

Happy Wednesday!! This morning I thought I'd share some pictures from our trip last week out to Jackson Hole. We really have come to love this place so much... I wrote about some of our favorite memories out there here, but this time was a favorite because we had our sweet Jane with us. ☺️
We snapped this on a walk with Jane sleeping and the mountains behind us...it's almost like you can SEE how clean and clear the air feels. Take me back already!!!
I don't have too many pictures of the travel day out there, because honestly, it was a long day for all three of us... but I did snap this when she fell asleep right before we boarded...it didn't last long, but that day, we took all that we could get haha
We were so glad when we landed and saw the Teton Mountains! Pierce's dad and sister had a climb to the top of the Grand planned for that weekend to celebrate his birthday!!
We were so thankful to be there and the sun shining made it even better!
Travel Day #1 in the books!
We had dinner with the family and got Jane settled in for the night after a very big day for her!!
Then the next day, we were up and at'em and went on a walk to soak up some of just the most beautiful weather.
It doesn't get much better than this view while you're walking 😍
Definitely got some miles in that afternoon, but with Jane sleeping and the crisp cool air with the mountains in the background - it was hard not to!
While Jane finished her nap, we hopped in their Jeep and headed into town for a little lunch and grocery stop! They had taken the doors and top off, so we truly felt like we were living our best young and free days hahaha
Just loved an afternoon with him :)
We also felt like we were living large with a hamburger, tots and fries 😂
After lunch, I made Pierce take the classic tourist picture with me on the town square 😉☺️
It was the best little day date for sure!!
All the while, Jane was loving her little toy from home and the chair that Pierce's mom had gotten her.
And the whole family took a walk that night to end the day and for a little prep for Kelsea and Pretlow before their big hike.
The next morning was Pierce's dad's birthday, so we "decorated" one of Jane's onesies to surprise him that morning.
Stopped him right in his tracks that morning 😂 So sweet!!
We snapped a few pictures before they headed out to get their bags checked for their big hike the next day!
Happy Birthday, GP!
While Prelow and Kelsea were in town, Stacy volunteered to keep an eye on Jane while she napped, and we headed out to paddleboard for the afternoon!
I wish I had taken my phone out on the water because the views were amazing!! But this is where we started and got to explore all around sweet Jenny Lake!
We just really, really loved this afternoon and being out on the water....take us back!!!
We got cleaned up and that night we just hung out on their front porch...
And facetimed Logan and Jessy while we celebrated Pretlow with a few gifts...
And a sweet one for his 60th!
Then we had Stacy's homemade cheesecake for dessert 🧁
Another sweet day in Wyoming in the books!
We sent Pretlow and Kelsea out on their big hike the next morning with a prayer and a few pictures and then enjoyed a slow morning and a fun breakfast at The Bunnery...so good!!
Then it was time to get to the airport and head home!!
It was a MUCH better travel day home. Jane slept almost both full flights…. And loved the sweet sunset when we landed!! 😉😂
It felt so good to be snuggled up back at home that night before bed!!

We are so thankful for that week and all that it held - we love Jackson and loved being able to take Jane for the first time and celebrate Pierce's dad's 60th. We can't wait for many more trips in the future!

Hope you enjoyed a little peek into our time in Wyoming last week!!
I'll see you back here tomorrow!
