What's Up Wednesday [September 2022]

Happy Wednesday!! I truly cannot believe that we are almost to the end of September...it has felt like it has flown by! But I'm so happy to welcome October, so I'll take it!! 

Today, I thought I'd jump on the What's Up Wednesday link-up with just a little bit of what's been going on with us recently...hope you enjoy and enjoy these last few days of September too!!

What We've Been Eating:

The other night Pierce was knee deep in finishing our ceiling, and I put Jane in the carrier and made one of our favorites...skillet nachos...it'll definitely have to be one we share on here soon!!

This is another favorite and go-to around here recently...especially Pierce's fresh mozzarella, cucumber and tomato salad...yum!

Maybe the most classic meal we have...our BBQ Chicken Pizza....

We've also been drinking a lot of cozy cups of tea these days...perfect on fall afternoons!! 

What We're Reminiscing About:

We've talked about this a few times, but last September, we heard this little miracle's heartbeat for the first time not knowing if it was a boy or a girl or really anything about her, and this September, we are holding her close, thanking the Lord for such a sweet gift and not taking a single day for granted ❤️ 

What We're Loving:

We're loving our early Friday mornings back with our favorites working out... It's a commitment getting out the door so early, but always worth it...and we really have been loving this little routine...we're not sure how long it'll last, but we're soaking it in while it does!! 

What We've Been Up To:

Pretty much...cozy mornings...

Evening walks... 

And lots of snuggles, naps, and cozy nights reading...

What We're Dreading:

Honestly...I still stand by my wishing we could have both cooler days and the sun staying up longer all at the same time...

What We're Working On:

...well, I roped Pierce into helping me "mix the concrete" slash help me with the whole project on these concrete pumpkins... I'll share more soon, but we've learned a lot from this "simple DIY project" 😂

What We're Excited About:

Pretty much, all things fall and all things October...we are ready for you!! 

What We've Been Watching/Reading:

I'll have to share a book review post soon, but we've been loving reading some different and fun books this fall... My sweet Denise Hunter just released her third book in one of her sweet series, and it has all the fall feels (mixed with a lot of bittersweet), but it makes me want to go buy an apple orchard, like tomorrow hahaha

What We've Been Listening To:

I think we would both say if there was a song to sum up our season right now, it would be this one...we love Dave Barnes and this one hits home right now for sure... ❤️

What We've Been Wearing:

Pretty much, our Tampa Bay Buccaneers gear every weekend... #tistheseason 🏈😂

What We're Doing This Weekend:

Hopefully putting this living room back together and being able to cozy up with this fireplace again...we can't wait!! 

What We're Looking Forward To Next Month:

Next month is filled with all of our favorite things...pumpkins, fall traditions, our anniversary...

And a beach trip with my family at the end of the month...We just love that sweet month of October!! 

What We're Thankful For:

These beautiful fall days and the good, hard, and everything in-between of this sweet season... ❤️
