Happy Wednesday!!! I hope everyone had such a great long weekend! We sure did over here - just a ton of family time and walks and cozying up with a little spring fever mixed in!! It's fun to be back here though, and it's especially fun because it's a fun day of the month with What's Up Wednesday!
Just a little bit of what's been going on the Riddicks recently! Hope you enjoy and have the best Wednesday today!!
What We've Been Eating:
Well, this little cutie has been eating us out of house and home this month...including about 7 million containers of raspberries 😂
We've also added back in a few grains this month, and this red pepper arugula pizza just made it's way right back to the top of our list again hahaha
And these little peanut butter chocolate cups are just too fun to stop! We finally "invested" in some $9 silicone baking cups for them, and wow! Our new favorite dessert for sure.
What We're Reminiscing About:
Oh man, we've been so reminiscing on the fact that this time last year we were buying our family car....We took a trip to Memphis over President's Day weekend last year to see if this would be an answer to prayer for a family car we had been praying for.
And by the end of the weekend, we found ourselves in another office signing very official documents just three weeks after purchasing our home and signing even more very official documents...all about four weeks before we had our first baby...it was a crazy time to say the least haha
But a very sweet blessing from the Lord that we are still so thankful for! You can read a little more about that journey here.
What We're Loving:
We've been pretty much wearing out this Sequence game at night and loving it all the same 😂
What We've Been Up To:
Well, Jane is finally getting old enough to try her hand at a few activities, and it's making my teacher heart so happy.
I've been using what I have to put a few fun things into practice from Susie from "Busy Toddler." She's a great follow if you're into fun things like that ☺️
What We're Dreading:
Honestly, probably just having to put away our sweet little Valentine's Day things until next year...but bring on the spring fever! We are getting ready for all the fresh air and windows open and fresh cut grass!!
What We're Working On:
What We're Excited About:
Pierce and I have been loving a few date nights this past month!
We love hanging with Jane so much, but we are also so thankful for sweet family friends in town that watch her for a few hours for us to get a few dinners in too!
These nights are always the biggest treat, and we get excited about our Thursday nights for sure!
What We've Been Watching/Reading:
Sweet Jane...reading with and to her will forever be one of my favorite pastimes...
Someone gifted us this little Jamberry book and it quickly became a favorite of hers. If you have favorites that your littles loved or still love, we would take any and all recommendations!!!
Pierce and I have also been loving Next Level Chef these days...it's been a really fun cooking show that we've gotten invested in...we started with the first season and are both just loving each and every episode!
What We've Been Listening To:
Jane's giggles. They are the very best. And Steven Curtis Chapman...we still love him. Hahaha
What We've Been Wearing:
What We're Doing This Weekend:
This weekend is hopefully going to hold a whole lot more of this!!!
What We're Looking Forward To Next Month:
This little one is starting to stand and take tiny steps on her own, and we are ready to watch you grow, Jane!!!
What We're Thankful For:
The sweet month that February 2023 was. It was a good one for sure!!!
Thanks for following along as we make our way through this year... And thanks Shay and Sheaffer for the fun blog link-up! I hope everyone has had a great February as well!!
